We have successfully delivered motivational workshops and seminars with a diverse range of organisations, giving people direction to further their lives and achieve their goals We are affiliated and work in partnership with The Prince’s Trust, City Councils, Youth Offending Services, Schools and Colleges and Volunteer groups both in the UK and Internationally. Our Approach

Our approach to training is based on putting the learner at the centre of the learning experience. Psychology is very much at the foundation of our training methods, specifically the research conducted around how people learn and retain information. Our workshops implement the use of ‘whole brain’ teaching methods, so that both the right brain, which is more creative, artistic and intuitive, and the left brain which is more analytical, scientific and logical are both stimulated, therefore catering for individual learning styles. Research has proven that learning is more effective and longer lasting when it is fun and creative. The science of play is very much infused into every BE GREAT workshop, making learning an engaging and truly worthwhile experience for participants.

Our Journey

The vision for BE GREAT started with one burning question, how can training be more impactful? After extensive experience working in senior HR management functions and as an Occupational Psychologist with several large multinational companies, Poonam Bhatt, the founder and Managing Director of BE GREAT Training saw a clear gap between the way in which training was delivered and the learning gained by participants. Her mission was to make training more relevant, engaging and to bring theory to life. Her career has involved designing innovative, research based programmes for organisations, teams and individuals. Poonam has driven many change initiatives within organisations in the UK and internationally and is a gifted executive coach.

After several years as a successful lawyer, Hiten decided that the legal profession could not satisfy a yearning desire for more adventure and so in 2006 he set off to see the world and do something different. It was whilst teaching English and Martial Arts to young people in Rio de Janiero, Brazil, that the realisation that play and creativity is essential to learning and engagement and the central ethos behind all of BE GREAT’s work was born. A Master NLP Practioner, qualified Life Coach and Motivational Speaker with extensive experience speaking to large audiences internationally, Hiten brings a unique creative flair to the delivery of the company’s training workshops and seminars. As co-founder of BE GREAT he has a passion for working towards developing organisational as well as individual growth.
